SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Managing Systems: Managed System Config & EWA

What RFC types does the 'Maintain RFCs' step generate in Managed System Configuration?

  • Read access (mandatory) — read version/monitoring/usage data.
  • Change manager — for ChaRM: read transports/content, CSOL lock checks, retrofit, the actual import.
  • Trusted system — seamless user navigation between SolMan and the target (needs S_RFCACL on both ends).
  • RFC for SolMan — defaults to trusted, else read.
  • An RFC to send EWA data.
