SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Managing Security

What does the User administration tool do, and what are its three tabs?

(Enhanced in 7.2) it auto-creates and assigns SAP-delivered roles by functional area, managing SolMan internal users and managed-system system/RFC users. Entry: SOLMAN_SETUP (Configuration User Management) or SOLMAN_WORKCENTER (Administration).

Three tabs: Users in SolMan Client (end-user access), Users in Managed Systems (auto-deploy new role versions on SP updates), Users for Configuration. Yellow status = role needs update (Mass Update). It copies standard roles into custom Z roles; create the dialog user in SU01 first.

This is one card from the KnowCard library. The full way to learn it — spaced-repetition review, progress tracking, and AI explanations — lives in the KnowCard app. We’re in private beta now; iOS & Android are coming soon.
