How does the Wily Introscope Enterprise Manager relate to its Agents, and what two agent forms exist?

The EM is the central tool installed on SolMan's host (connected during system prep); Agents report to it and don't work without it.

Two agent forms:

  • Wily Autoprobes — built into the diagnostics agent.
  • Java Byte Code Adapter — auto-installed to the Java stack during managed system config, monitoring SAP apps on AS Java.
