SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Solution Documentation: Libraries & Process Model

What does the Analytics Library provide, and where does the actual analysis happen?

A set of analysis objects that pull unfiltered, unevaluated raw data from managed systems; they correspond to real data-collection objects in those systems and feed business data into SolMan's BW InfoCube.

The actual analysis happens in the Business Process Analytics application.
