SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Retrofit

How does Correction Workbench retrofit merge changes, and what do its three Confirm-Changes colors mean?

The merge editor computes the source transport's delta and applies it to the same object in the target (the N+1 object version must equal the N original version).

Confirm Changes lights:

  • Green = copyable (verify the result).
  • Yellow = partially copyable (adjust with the Split Screen Editor).
  • Red = not copyable (unsupported/locked/missing).

Even green can produce syntax errors if the starting state differed between N and N+1.
