SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Retrofit

When does Retrofit use automatic import, and what does it use to do it?

When an object was changed in the maintenance landscape but not the innovation landscape (no conflict, no CSOL lock in SolMan).

Supports 100% transportable objects (except some BW objects and all Java objects). It uses a ToC — auto-created/released when the maintenance dev transport is released, imported to the innovation dev system, then copied into the empty retrofit transport request.

This is one card from the KnowCard library. The full way to learn it — spaced-repetition review, progress tracking, and AI explanations — lives in the KnowCard app. We’re in private beta now; iOS & Android are coming soon.
