SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · SAP Portfolio & Project Management (PPM)

What is the difference between an issue and a top issue in SAP Solution Manager?

  • Issue — a problem disrupting operations.
  • Top issue — a serious problem requiring immediate handling; related issues can be merged into one top issue.

In 7.2 projects and issues are independent but integrable (an Issues tab appears in the project); an issue is only fully created after the project is saved.
