SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Retrofit

What is Backlog transport processing (new in 7.2), and when do you use it?

It enables Retrofit after the dual-track landscape is already built and in use — registering transports built outside Retrofit (on both tracks) so Retrofit knows about them.

Prepare the innovation track (CSOL entries for all changeable + released transports since project start) + the maintenance landscape (retrofit data for all released transports). Configured in SOLMAN_SETUP.

This is one card from the KnowCard library. The full way to learn it — spaced-repetition review, progress tracking, and AI explanations — lives in the KnowCard app. We’re in private beta now; iOS & Android are coming soon.
