In semiautomatic retrofit, which tool handles customizing transports versus workbench objects?

  • Customizing transports → BC Set (packages customizing settings; auto-created on release; the object must support BC Sets — e.g. master-data changes can't be retrofitted).
  • Workbench/repository objects → Correction Workbench (also used by SNOTE; the merge editor computes a delta, and the target object version must equal the source's original version).
