SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Release Management

What does the system check before letting you delete a release, and what's the ordering rule for minor releases?

It checks for: a successor release, attachment to a SAP PPM project, and any change documents/RfCs/IT requirements attached.

A minor release can only be deleted when there's no successor minor within the same major (delete R1.4 before R1.3). You must first decouple/remove the PPM-project and change-document associations.

This is one card from the KnowCard library. The full way to learn it — spaced-repetition review, progress tracking, and AI explanations — lives in the KnowCard app. We’re in private beta now; iOS & Android are coming soon.
