SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Change Impact Analysis (TBOM/BPCA/SEA)

What is the Maintenance Planner, and what must SEA define in it?

The Maintenance Optimizer's successor — a cloud tool integrating Maintenance Optimizer + LMDB product-system editor + Landscape Planner, for planning all changes to the SAP landscape.

For SEA you must define a maintenance planner transaction (Plan → Install/Maintain EHP, confirm SP stack/OS/DB/add-on, Set to Complete); accessed at apps.support.sap.com (needs a SAP service user).

This is one card from the KnowCard library. The full way to learn it — spaced-repetition review, progress tracking, and AI explanations — lives in the KnowCard app. We’re in private beta now; iOS & Android are coming soon.
