When customizing document handling for external storage in Solution Documentation, what's the per-client limitation?

You maintain the HTTP access service /default_host/sap/bc/contentserver and use the NetWeaver 740 SP11+ Knowledge Provider to store docs in an external NW system.

The catch: SolMan document storage is client-specific, but you can't pick a different remote system for different clients.
