SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Requirements Management

What's the IT requirement flow in Requirements Management?

  1. The requirements manager defines it (auto-receiving info forwarded from the business requirement) and Submits for Validation.
  2. The solution architect checks dev-team capacity, cost/feasibility, and scope (successor change docs + affected systems, assigning a change cycle in the Scope block) → Submits for Approval.
  3. The requirements manager approves → business requirement → Committed by IT → business manager accepts → business requirement → Accepted, change document auto-generated, IT requirement → Submitted for Implementation.
