SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Solution Documentation: Architecture & Config

How do SM_SDOC and SM_SDOCADM differ in what they authorize?

  • SM_SDOC — grants Solution Documentation (SOLDOC) access, by solution+branch.
  • SM_SDOCADM — grants Solution Administration (SOLADM/SLAN) access, by solution+branch, with the Aspect field controlling scope (SLAN = solution level, SBRA = branch level).

Both belong to SAP_SM_SL_* roles; to adjust, copy SAP_SM_SL_ADMIN into a customer namespace.
