How do you triage which ChaRM transaction type to use for a given change?

  • Start with an RfC → validated/approved by change approver + change advisory board.
  • Transportable SAP change → normal or urgent change.
  • SAP-internal but non-transportable → administrative change.
  • Unrelated to SAP → general change.
  • Integration-test error in a release cycle's test phase → defect correction.

All except general change attach to a change cycle.
