What must be done before configuring ChaRM?

  • Complete SOLMAN_SETUP (system prep / infra prep / basic config / managed system config).
  • Run the ChaRM prerequisite check.
  • Install the ChaRM master note.

Configuration then uses an automation tool to copy standard transaction types into the customer Y*/Z* namespace and enables copy control so the customer transaction types integrate with each other.
