SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Change Request Management (ChaRM)

What is a change cycle in CCM, and what does it bind to when activated?

A transaction type that changes are assigned to — it decides how a change is handled (flexible vs controlled) and when/how transports import downstream.

Each activated cycle binds to a transport track (formed by change control landscape + branch + TMS settings).

This is one card from the KnowCard library. The full way to learn it — spaced-repetition review, progress tracking, and AI explanations — lives in the KnowCard app. We’re in private beta now; iOS & Android are coming soon.
