What's the difference between a user text template and a system text template in ChaRM?

  • User template — created/maintained by an individual, stored locally for personal use (like an email signature).
  • System template — created by an admin, global across all ChaRM transaction types, standardizing what info a document should record.

When customizing a text type, ChaRM's text object is CRM_ORDERH.
