SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Change Request Management (ChaRM)
What three prerequisite checks does the ChaRM task-list guided process run before activating a track, and why must all checks be green (not just warnings)?
- Transport Management — routes/paths configured to CCM requirements so a track can generate.
- System RFC — RFC destinations built, users defined, connection tests pass, users authorized.
- Number Range — configured.
All checks must be green because RFC problems appear as warnings, not errors. In earlier behavior you could skip task-list activation warnings, but now all checks must pass to proceed — ignoring warnings risks a broken track due to unresolved RFC issues.
