SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Change Request Management (ChaRM)

What is a General change (SMCG) for, and what's unique about it?

To record/track/manage/monitor non-SAP changes — no link to TMS, purely manual tracking, no auto-import out of the box.

Flexible for printer repairs, mobile-device changes, tracking third-party/legacy systems; it can record which systems are constrained by usage rights. It's the only change type that doesn't attach to a change cycle.

This is one card from the KnowCard library. The full way to learn it — spaced-repetition review, progress tracking, and AI explanations — lives in the KnowCard app. We’re in private beta now; iOS & Android are coming soon.
