SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Change Impact Analysis (TBOM/BPCA/SEA)

How do semidynamic and static TBOMs differ, given both are bulk-generated?

  • Semidynamic — uses UPL (Usage and Procedure Logging); analyzes the environment then filters with UPL object-usage data — more precise.
  • Static — doesn't call the executable; only analyzes the environment, so it can't detect dynamically called/generated objects — the least precise.

This is one card from the KnowCard library. The full way to learn it — spaced-repetition review, progress tracking, and AI explanations — lives in the KnowCard app. We’re in private beta now; iOS & Android are coming soon.
