What does Benchmarking compare in Business Process Analytics, and what can it reveal?

It benchmarks the same key figure across multiple characteristics (all org units, all document types).

It reveals whether backlog is even across regions/locations/document types — so you decide some countries need training, or some document types have config that should change. Data comes from the Business Process Analytics InfoCube; each characteristic maps to a Group By flag in the BPMon settings.
