SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Transport Management (CTS/CTS+/cCTS)

What is selective import, and why must you be careful using it under ChaRM?

It lets you cherry-pick which transports promote (or skip individual ones), configured by change control landscape/system/client/transaction type/status.

Caution: selective import alters the buffer, and under ChaRM you should never alter the buffer (import-project-all guarantees consistent sequencing). Use it only when transports are independent with no interdependencies.
