SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Transport Management (CTS/CTS+/cCTS)

What does CTS+ add, and how does it relate to using the CCM tools?

Enhanced CTS lets non-ABAP changes (EPA/DOC/JEE files) attach to a transport request as archives, using the same logistics as ABAP transports — so non-ABAP systems can use ChaRM's workflow/approval/ITIL process.

CTS+ is not a prerequisite for the CCM tools (nor vice versa); once linked to SolMan, CCM treats Java changes as ABAP transports. (Implemented by Basis, fairly complex.)
