SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Business Process Operations

What does Transactional Correctness identify, and how do you run it?

It identifies and improves programs that could cause data inconsistency — e.g. ABAP data that should update multiple tables (header + line) together; it tells you whether only one table updated, or whether another program makes a conflicting update to the same data.

Record a trace and evaluate; run report /SDF/DCC_TC on the managed system (needs ST-PI 2008_1; evaluating enqueue/dequeue needs ST-PI 2008_1 SP09); analyzing from the SolMan side needs SolMan 7.1 SP12+.

This is one card from the KnowCard library. The full way to learn it — spaced-repetition review, progress tracking, and AI explanations — lives in the KnowCard app. We’re in private beta now; iOS & Android are coming soon.
