SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · Business Process Operations

What is Data Consistency Management, and why is it needed?

Tools and processes to prevent/detect/investigate/correct data inconsistencies across the landscape.

It's needed because data exchanged across WMS/ECC/CRM etc. can be inconsistent at the application and technical layers, not just from user mis-entry. It ensures core processes execute successfully and prevents costly business-process outages; accessed in Fiori (SM_WORKCENTER).

This is one card from the KnowCard library. The full way to learn it — spaced-repetition review, progress tracking, and AI explanations — lives in the KnowCard app. We’re in private beta now; iOS & Android are coming soon.
