SAP Solution Manager 7.2 · IT Service Management (ITSM)

What is SAP Collaboration, and how does it link a SAP support message to the ITSM message?

When you suspect a software bug, you forward an ITSM message to SAP support — creating a support message directly within ITSM (no logging into SAP Service Marketplace).

That support message is built on the SAP Digital Business Services backbone but linked to the SolMan ITSM message (traceable); all SAP communication is recorded in the SAP Collaboration assignment block.

This is one card from the KnowCard library. The full way to learn it — spaced-repetition review, progress tracking, and AI explanations — lives in the KnowCard app. We’re in private beta now; iOS & Android are coming soon.
