What two kinds of categorization does ITSM use?

  • Multilevel categorization — up to 4 levels (customizable with a second block = up to 8); schema set in the Web Client's Service Operations page; each level depends on the previous.
  • Solution Category — independent of multilevel; identifies the type of solution reached when the message closes.
